I never knew orangatans painted, though I've been to Thailand, north of Chaing Mai, and have watched several elephants painting pictures: flowers, elephants, even an elephant mounting another one, believe it or not! Were you right in with the animals? Or watching from close-up, but still not physically with them...I would be entranced...but a bit scared, I think...Just another connection, however, to their closeness to the human being.
