About Peter Riger
I am the Director of Conservation and Science here at the Houston Zoo with a special interest in the wildlife and habitats of Asia, Africa, North America...basically any continent with wildlife and habitats. My interests are as random as they come ranging from Philippine Cloud Rats, Bornean Elephants and Badgers to Mole-Rats, Hornbills, Snub-Nosed Monkeys, Antelope and Wild Cats. If I am not in the office promoting our conservation programs, you may find me, well you will not find me as I am permanently camoflauged.
