I just watched Baylor being born on NatGeo last night. I was awed by the dedication of the Houston Zoo staff to make Shanti’s labor and Baylor’s birth successful. I won’t lie – I literally cried my eyes out at the beauty of the whole thing especially at the pull Baylor felt towards his mommy mere seconds after being born. I’m so happy to have found this blog online and even happier to see the pictures of ALL the elephants. Keep up the good work!!
